- Day 1: Pick up from Airport
As per flight timing, depending on traffic and time to travel, followed by a the main pedestrian boulevard of the city. Complete check-in formalities and relax after the long journey. • Check in at the hotel. • Enjoy leisure time to relax or explore nearby areas.
- Day 2: Gangtok Nathula Special
After Breakfast, proceed for Sightseeing • Changu Lake (Tsomgo Lake)- Perched at 12,400 ft and just 35 km from Gangtok, Changu Lake is a sacred high-altitude gem surrounded by snow-clad peaks. Fed by melting glaciers, this serene oval lake offers breathtaking views, drifting clouds, and sightings of the colorful Brahminy duck. A peaceful walk here feels truly magical. Permit, valid ID, and photos required; weather conditions may affect visits. • New Baba Mandir -Located near Tsomgo Lake, New Baba Mandir honors the brave soldier Baba Harbhajan Singh, believed to protect the nation even today. Revered by locals and the army, the shrine is known for its spiritual aura and healing water. Set amid rugged Himalayan terrain, it’s a soulful and patriotic stop. Permit required; visits depend on weather and road conditions. • Nathula Pass – Gateway:Nathula Pass is one of the most iconic high-altitude mountain passes in India, located at about 14,140 ft above sea level on the Indo-China border in East Sikkim. Perched between rugged peaks and snow-clad valleys, Nathula offers an unforgettable experience of Himalayan grandeur and historical significance. Tashi View Point -Located about 8 km from Gangtok, Tashi View Point offers breathtaking views of Mount Kanchenjunga, Phodong and Labrang Monasteries. It is especially beautiful during sunset, when the sky glows in shades of pink and orange. • Rumtek Monastery- Located 23 km from Gangtok, Rumtek Monastery is a serene hilltop monastery and a key center of the Karma Kagyu lineage. Founded by the 16th Karmapa, it features a grand golden Buddha, sacred thangkas, and beautiful murals, offering a peaceful spiritual experience. • The Flower Exhibition Centre- located below Ridge Park in Gangtok, is a delight for flower lovers. It showcases vibrant orchids, anthuriums, lilies, and seasonal blooms from across Sikkim. - Day 5: Sightseeing of Darjeeling
After breakfast, begin the sightseeing of Darjeeling. • Himalayan Zoological park -Covering an area of 205 hectares, Himalayan Zoological Park preserves and nurtures the amazing wildlife of Gangtok. Situated at an altitude of 1,780 meters, the park also offers mesmeric views of Mount Kanchenjunga. Explore this incredible habitat of animals like Himalayan Red Panda, Snow Leopard Cat, Himalayan Black Bear, Crimson-Horned Pheasant, Himalayan Palm Civet along with other species of flora and fauna. Himalayan Zoological Park is the very first zoo of Sikkim. • Tenzing Rock-Tenzing Rock is a giant natural rock which was named after the mountaineer, Tenzing Norgay, who made the first successful ascent of Mount Everest with Edmund Hillary in 1953. Starting from 20ft and rising to 80ft, the Tenzing Rock is a natural rock climbing site with varied climbing routes. The rock has two sides for climbing; the left side is used by professional rock climbers while the right side is used by amateurs who climb the rock with the help of guides. It is a popular attraction among tourists who want to experience some thrill and adventure amidst the serenity of Darjeeling . • Japanese Temple- The Japanese Temple is a Buddhist place of worship, located just a short drive away from central Darjeeling. The beautiful construction was made in the authentic Japanese style in 1972 and is also known by the name of Nipponzan Myohoji Buddhist Temple. • Peace Pagoda- Perched atop Charlemont Hill, the Japanese Peace Pagoda is a serene symbol of peace and unity. Built in elegant Japanese style, it features beautiful sandstone carvings depicting the life of Lord Buddha. The calm surroundings and prayer halls make it a perfect spot for quiet reflection and panoramic views. • Gombu Rock -Situated opposite the iconic Tenzing Rock, Gombu Rock is named after Everest climber Nawang Gombu. - Day 6: Airport Drop
Mirik -A two-hour drive away from Siliguri, Mirik is a small tourist point located in the hills of Darjeeling. The drive to Mirik is extremely scenic and cuts through lush tea gardens and mountain landscapes. The main attraction of Mirik is Sumendu lake, an ideal place to enjoy boating and long walks. Ramitey Dandra, a famous sightseeing point in Mirik, is known for offering a picturesque view of snow-capped Kanchenjunga. Also, the place has several viewpoints to watch sunset and sunrise, tea gardens, monasteries, and temples, etc. The best way to explore Mirik from Siliguri is to go on a day tour. • As per flight departure time,After breakfast and check-out, proceed for a transfer to Airport as per your flight schedule, carrying beautiful memories of Darjeeling. • Departure from Darjeeling.
